There will be a $30 NON-Refundable fee charged from TransUnion Smart Move.
If your Resident Score (Per TransUnion Smart Move) is around 650 or less, we will likely require a two month deposit. More information below in deposit section.

We will contact you after we review the background check. If you are accepted, we will arrange a time / place to meet to sign the lease and exchange the deposit:
IMPORTANT TIMING REQUIREMENTS: Due to multiple customer bids, timing is of the essence when requesting a lease. We operate in TWELVE (12) hour allowances:
Once an applicant is sent a background check, they have TWELVE (12) hours to complete it. If that time expires, other customers may be invited to request a lease.
Once an applicant is sent a lease, they have TWELVE (12) hours to sign it. If that time expires, other customers may be invited to request a lease.
Once a lease is signed, the customer has TWELVE (12) hours to make the deposit. If the deposit is not made by that time, the lease is deemed null and void and other customers may then request a lease.
LEASE REVIEW
You will receive an electronic lease from a "Blue Palmetto and Cannon Properties" ID. The subject will start with "Signature requested on "Lease agreement". Please review and sign within TWELVE (12) hours of receipt.

DEPOSIT PAYMENT:
To secure a property lease, you will be required to put down a one month's rent security deposit in advance.
If your Resident Score (Per TransUnion Smart Move) is around 650 or less, we will likely require a two month deposit. The first month is due at lease signing, the remaining portion will be due over the first three months of rental.
The security deposit is refundable only at the end of the lease (depending on damage); we cannot refund the deposit if a customer decides not to follow through on the move.
DEPOSIT PAYMENT:
PAY ONLINE - Once all parties sign the eLease, you'll receive an invite to our Resident Center where you can make PAYMENTS.
IN PERSON - Our company office is located in Myrtle Beach, SC. We understand that this is a long drive from NC. However, you are welcome to visit us here if you would like to meet us: 2610 N. Ocean Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. The deposit must be a certified check, money order or direct deposit. Personal Checks are NOT accepted. Make check payable to: Cannon Properties of the Carolinas
ROOMMATE POLICY
If any resident has a Resident Score (Per TransUnion Smart Move) of 650 or less, the group has two options:
Place a two month deposit. More information below in deposit section
Place lease only in the name(s) of the resident(s) with a 650+ Resident score. That resident(s) is liable in the event of an eviction notice. The resident(s) must also make enough income to cover the entire rent (income = 3x > rent).
When Security deposit is made, you must document in an email the specific amounts each roommate paid toward the deposit. This ensures proper refunds at lease end.
